CAT Exam Syllabus
CAT syllabus is very vast. The IIMs do not have a fixed syllabus for CAT but the questions are mostly based on school Maths and English topics. In this article students are provided with the latest CAT syllabus and PDF. It is to be noted that the syllabus given here is generalized. Before going to the CAT syllabus, it is important to note some important details about the exam. The CAT is a computer-based test held in India every year by one of the IIM’s. This test tests a person based on quantitative ability, verbal ability, data interpretation and logical reasoning. This test is used by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) to select students for their various business administration programs. Below is a detailed breakup of the number of questions in each section with their difficulty levels. It is to be noted that these are approximate number and the final numbers can change depending upon the Pattern of the Exam. If a student can strategize his preparation and only solves Easy questions then also he can score a percentile close to 90. Scoring high in CAT is basically about strategizing and building upon your strengths.
